🥑🥑🥑 : 3 Couch Avocados!
Highly recommended!!!!!! I am already reviewing this when I still have 2 more episodes to go before the finale... BUT I CAN FORESEE, IT WILL BE GOOD TILL THE END...
Usually when I watch dramas, I tend to skip and slide aloooooooot because they are either boring or talk too much (about things i don't really care or irrelevant to main plot LOL). For this, man... I watched almost every single second of it, it was gripping me me every moment of it.... alsjkdhkdfdslsja
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️Okay, that's it for general comments, this moment onwards contains major plot spoilers! ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

1. Firstly the whole plot made sense to me... everything was logical and they did not try to force anything to make anything more emotional than it originally it, neither did they have illogical evidences/cases (at least based on my pea-brain)... I really loved the part where they justified seongmo’s love for an and jaein even though he wasn't supposed to have feelings to begin with. That explains everything else in the drama, like how he decided to save an, took care of him and wanting to protect him etc
2. I loved the way they paced the whole case and revealed the whole case slowly through different perspectives of different people too 🥺 there’s jaein wanting to clear her father’s name, there’s an wanting to find out the truth behind his parents death and there seongmo... trying to make up for what he did by subtly leading them to the truth... and it all seems logical because of how they show the emotions and thoughts of the characters in a non confusing way... usually dramas with a single major case/plot becomes draggy or vvvv predictable but this one was A MAZE... Though some were predictable, some were out of the world because I wouldn't imagine a Korean scriptwriter to be this... mean to the characters and put them through those emotional turmoils 😭😭😭😭 it was sooo

hard to watch i cried buckets I’ll admit...
3. THEY DIDN'T FOCUS TOO MUCH/FORCE THE ROMANCE LINE, THIS IS SO IMPORTANT ESPECIALLY FOR A CRIME DRAMA‼️‼️ Oh my goodness, i really can' emphasise this enough. Though there were love here and there, it was progressive and wasn't a “Oh! This moment i fell in love w him/her”. They showed how their relationship build up over the years and showed how they grew from young teenagers to mature young adults who isn't all about love and romance. This is what a proper coming-of-age drama is supposed to look like!
4. I had to mention this... The scene where jaein and an realises that the whole perpetrator of this whole saga... It was amazing... There were many climaxes throughout but this... when jaein moves towards seongmo with the gun and seongmo lifting up his hands to be handcuffed... an looked away and it really showed his conflicting feels MY HEART 😭😭😭 This show is a perfect example of sometimes knowing the truth gives yourself a harder time... though jaein cleared her father’s name... she wasn't feeling any where near good either...
6. The whole drama almost did not purposely wanna help seong mo 洗白 (clearing his name), but instead bared to the audiences his thought process and how he tried to makeup, feels guilty and eventually pays for what he does DESPITE BEING A MAIN CHARACTER, logic man logic!! Dramas nowadays lacked logic! It really makes me wonder how criminals actually think... because some crimes are committed in the form of self defense.. NOT DEFENDING HIM THOUGH but it’s just... a dilemma worth discussing... maybe that’s why people always say bullies were once bullied.. 可恨之人必有可怜之处 (the despised man certainly have something to be pitied for)...

Moving on to the criticisms I have for the show...
Dislikes:
1. They killed off one of my fav characters 😭😭😭😭 but okay actually this should go to my likes because they killed her off to ensure that seongmo being a criminal wouldn't get his part of the romance and in a way made him pay for his crimes... also it did help move the plot along unlike other dramas where main characters somehow have a magic halo protecting them from death... BUT YEAH THAT WAS A LIKE DISGUISE IN DISLIKES
As mentioned, I am not a professional reviewer or anything. I just like to watch shows and talk about it so you would probably never find technicalities here or anything near professional...
