🥑🥑: 2 Couch Avocados!!

I was interested in this drama because there was Lawrence Wong... He was an actor based in Singapore but hit it big with Yanxi Palace (延禧攻略）so I was curious to see his career growth... BUT I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED HAHA!!

This 甜宠剧 (sweet romance-ish genre?) got me in the right spot...

Likes:

1. So firstly for such dramas it has to be 甜！甜！甜！(sweet!) and this drama did it!!! It was slightly over and made people feel awkward and weird but it accomplished the goal of making it fluffy ALDJSKAK THEY’RE SO CUTE THE FEMALE LEAD SO CUTE

2. The plot centres around the entertainment industry and the fact that they incorporated the industry so well into the romance is IS MAJOR BONUS!!! They aren't just all love and no work or all work and no love but it was well balanced I LOVE IT

3. THE RICH MAN’S MOTHER IS A MAJOR 助攻!!!!! omg for once a fluff drama didn't have a nasty mother in law who didn't want a pauper for a daughter in law... and she SO CUTE!! SHE KEPT SCOLDING THE SON BC HE’S BAD AT DATING AND EXPRESSING HIMSELF PROPERLY.. SHE EVEN BRING THE FEMALE LEAD AND SHOW OFF “这是我叶家的儿媳妇” (This is my daughter-in-law) CUTE!!!

4. SECOND LEAD COUPLE SO CUTE ALSO ~~ usually when I watch drama I skip alot of parts but this!! I RLLY LIKE THE SECOND COUPLE ALSO THEY'RE SO CUTE ... The guy knew the girl hated rich people because she was hurt previously so he came up with various excuses... and when the girl found out she wasn't "OMG YOU LIED TO ME" but she waited for him to be honest and hinted him and saw all that he has done for her CUTE OK CUTE their ups and downs also quite realistic and reflected a few problems in relationship worth discussing I LIKE A DEEP COUPLE

5. THE FEMALE PROPOSED SHE PROPOSED OMG SO CUTE THEN THE GUY KNEEL WITH HER OMG THIS DRAMA KNOWS HOW TO GET US (me)

Dislikes:

1. The plot has got WAYYY TOO MANY PLOT HOLES. Firstly the ex girlfriend left for Hollywood to chase her after her dreams. I don't understand what's wrong with that and why they had to breakup just because she’s going overseas... and the drama never explained why ML's mother never liked the ex girlfriend... for the first time i pity the "evil second FL"... she 无缘无故 (for no rhyme or reason) lost her love and got forced into the evil female lead role... she was quite okay other than she was being a bitch trying to get back with ML BUT I DIDN'T THINK SHE WAS WRONG IN THE FIRST PLACE... and the cancer part... I knew it was hinted multiple times with the gastric pain and all but also never 交代清楚 (tie up loose ends) it feels like it was just there for the angst...

2. I don't understand what’s with them and people chasing their dream... the female lead was also offered the chance to advance overseas but suddenly this time the guy is okay with it BUT THE GIRL GAVE IT UP ALTHOUGH SHE REALLY REALLY WANTED IT but she ended up choosing to get married immediately instead... OKAY GIRL YOUR LIFE YOUR CHOICE just didn't made sense to me how the guy can be a 总裁 (president) and be fulfilling his career dreams but the girls have to give them up... 😤😤

3. There’s a few moral dilemmas I don't agree w the writer... I honestly think the ex-girlfriend didn't do anything wrong and the second couple the conflicts... hais you have to watch it to know...
